The GXL V2 is Gotrax's long-running entry commuter. A 250 W motor and a 36 V, 187 Wh battery give it a 15.5 mph top speed and a claimed 12 miles — enough for campus runs, a last mile from the train or short errands on flat ground.
At 27 lb it's one of the easiest adult scooters here to carry up stairs or onto a bus, and the honeycomb tires never go flat. It's UL 2272 certified, has a rear disc plus electronic brake, a clear LCD and cruise control. Because Amazon sells it directly, returns are simple.
It's a small-battery, low-power scooter: heavier riders say it feels slow, and one owner found the cruise control too easy to engage by accident. Owners repeatedly praise Gotrax support for replacing faulty units, including a controller that failed at 11 months.
