For a first electric scooter, the E200 gets the priorities right. The 200 W motor tops out at 12 mph — quick enough to be fun, slow enough for sidewalks and parks — and the listing quotes up to 12 miles of range with a 4-hour charge. It's UL 2272 certified, which is what you want to see on any child's e-scooter.
Solid 8-inch tires mean no flats, and front suspension takes the edge off cracks and curbs. The handlebar adjusts to four heights, it weighs just 19 lb, and it arrives almost fully assembled. Parents mostly praise the build quality, battery life and LED lights.
The complaints are about the details: instructions that don't explain the folding lock well, a charger with the wrong plug in one box, and an on/off button that's hard for small hands. One owner found it slow at about 4 mph, which may point to a speed mode or unit issue.
