What it's like to own
The ZT3 Pro is Segway's go-anywhere scooter. A 1,600 W-peak motor reaches 24.9 mph and climbs 25% grades; the 597 Wh battery is rated for 43.5 miles and flash-charges in about 4 hours.
11-inch knobby tubeless tires, a dual telescopic front fork and rear spring suspension let owners ride grass, dirt and gravel as comfortably as pavement. Front and rear disc brakes, turn signals, IPX5, Find My and dual UL certification round it out, with a 2-year warranty.
At 65 lb it's a heavy fold. It has the highest rating share in our mid-range group (87% 5 or 4 stars); owners, including a 65-year-old rider in Colorado with 100+ miles, describe it as very well built for the price. A few mention small quirks.
