What it's like to own
The Kullter is the scooter enthusiasts recommend when someone asks for 'hyper-scooter speed without the hyper-scooter price'. For $849 you get dual hub motors peaking at 4,000 W, a 60 V / 23.4 Ah (about 1,400 Wh) battery, suspension front and rear and 10-inch knobby pneumatic tires.
Real-world speed depends on the rider: owners around 250–260 lb report a stable 40–50 mph, others top out in the high 30s. The square-wave controllers make acceleration a bit abrupt out of the box and the electronic braking is aggressive, but both can be tuned in the P-settings menu — the English manual won't help much, so plan on watching a video guide.
Downsides are the usual ones at this price: no key or lock, a remote for the lights that's fiddly, no published weight or water rating, and a 13-hour charge on the stock charger. One owner crashed after a rear brake that wasn't working properly — check and adjust both brakes before your first ride.
