What it's like to own
The ZO01 Plus is built by Shenzhen ZonD Technology, the company behind ZonDoo, and it shows: the spec sheet reads like a close cousin of the ZonDoo ZO03 Plus. Two 3,000 W hub motors, a 2,100 Wh battery with two chargers (5-hour charge), hydraulic disc brakes at both ends, C-type suspension front and rear and 11-inch tubeless off-road tires.
Differences that matter: MetaMoov publishes a UL 2272 certification, an IP54 rating and a real net weight (108 lb), and it was about $40 cheaper than the ZonDoo at our check, with a discount on top. The steering damper and seat come in the box.
Owners report high speeds with good stability — one rides 32 miles at 30 mph with 40% battery left. The negatives are familiar for this class: a unit that stopped charging after a month with slow vendor support, a caliper that arrived bad, and one serious crash blamed on a sticking throttle and loose screws. Inspect it carefully before your first ride.
